The Cheyenne Stampede Junior "A" Hockey Club will begin their inaugural season of operation with the opening of Training Camp on Monday, August 29 at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center.
The three week long camp will include 5-6 on ice and 4-5 off-ice sessions each week through mid September. Players will undergo a rigorous conditioning regimen as well as team and system work.
The Stampede enter camp with 32 top prospects and will look to trim that to a 25 man roster by Jan 1st.
The Stampede will enter the very talented Western States Hockey League season with a mix of players from the previous franchise (Tulsa Rampage) and new highly skilled and sought after veterans and rookies.
"So far, they are a great group of hard working kids" stated Stampede GM Mark Lantz "I really like the maturity, work ethic and overall personality of these players". "They are going to make some noise in the WSHL if they come together and gel".

For Rookies & Invitees (Those hoping to make the team, who have not been offered a contract or completed their contract) there is a registration fee of $350 per week. This fee covers all Team Personnel Expenses, access to team facilities, on and off ice team sessions, Team Evening Meals, and Team lodging (Motel or Billet Family) and Team/Player Insurance.

Refund Policy: Must receive written cancellations to gm@cheyennestampede.com no later than 2 weeks prior to the camp start date. No refunds will be given after this period. A $100 cancellation fee applies in all cases. The Cheyenne Stampede are not responsible for ice facility and/or travel related incidents beyond our direct control.
